Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care and The Hearing Care Partnership are delighted to announce a brand new role to the business.

In what is a very exciting time for the both Leightons and The Hearing Care Partnership, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring that the channels of communication within our central support office, branches and external partners are fit for purpose; in a nutshell the right people receive the right messages at the right time in the right format.

External

Take the lead in formulating regular and ad hoc partner communications using at times the CEO as a vehicle. Leading on brand reputation to ensure our values and purpose are clearly communicated to prospective employees.

CSR

To take the lead and be the voice of CSR and sustainability within the business, pushing it up the agenda and creating a platform to externally articulate

 

Role Requirements 

  • Craft and write regular articles and communications for both internal and external audiences
  • Take the lead on collating and formulating structured communications to branches
  • Work with SLT on continually improving communications at all levels within the business
  • Work closely with the CEO to formulate all partner communications
  • Working with the relevant managers, manage the briefing and production of all key internal and external presentations
  • Create internal and external presentations to a high standard using PowerPoint or similar
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team input into the social (both consumer and business) schedules
  • Take responsibility for planning, suggesting and crafting business profile posts and similar for both CEO and Managing Director
  • Create a thought leadership plan to externalise articles utilising the resources of both Professional Services (clinical) and Business (CEO & Directors)
  • Be the anchor point for all event planning both internal and external, covering but not limited to company conferences, partner events and regional employee meetings
  • Take the lead on all CSR activities, raising the profile both internally and externally
  • Bring all CSR activities together creating the overall plan, taking responsibility for execution
  • Be part of the wider team, contributing ideas and assisting with other tasks as required
